LASH REHABILITATION
The art of applying hand-made fans with perfect isolation takes time and care, but your natural lashes will thank you for it. This is why our clients having been coming to us for years without break and have lashes in better condition than when they first arrived.

Unfortunately, when the correct care and technique is not followed, this can cause breakage and damage to the natural lashes. While lash health is a huge priority for us, perhaps you chose the wrong salon, and now find your lashes are screaming S.O.S! Here at Hi-Lash, we are a judgement free zone. We can help restore your lashes to their former glory, assisting them to heal from the damage so that they are able to have lash extensions safely applied to them again.
What Causes Lashes to Become Damaged?
With years of experience under our belt, we can attest to the fact that lash extensions themselves are not the problem. When applied correctly, lash extensions will not cause any pain or damage to your natural lashes and will simply fall off with your natural lash at the end of it’s cycle. You may even forget they are there... (until you roll out of bed looking fabulous, that is!)
1. Poorly Skilled Technician
It may sound simple in concept, but lashing isn’t as easy as you’d think. It takes a lot of patience and practice to correctly apply lashes. A technician without the correct training can make a number of mistakes, some common examples are: applying the glue too close to the lash line, overloading the lashes and incorrect isolation. Unfortunately, the lack of regulation in our industry means that there are a few 'cowboys' out there…and you deserve better!
2. Low Quality Products
Not all lash glues are created equal, so if you walk into a salon and the smell of chemicals hits you? Red flag! Cheap formulas with harsh fumes can cause irritation to the eyes, not bond to the lash correctly, and even cause respiratory issues. Good quality products should have you leaving your appointment with clear eyes, clear sinuses and lashes that stay on. There’s nothing more disappointing than investing your time and money into a set that leaves you with bloodshot eyes or looking like a balding budgie before the week is up.
3. Incorrect Aftercare
A good lash artist knows that lash care doesn’t end when the client leaves the salon, and won’t let them leave without arming them with the correct knowledge and after care so that they can look after their lashes properly. Dirty lashes are a breeding ground for bacteria, product build-up, and can cause blocked follicles, styes, premature lash loss and all sorts of trouble.
